See Eric H's review which covers all the bases. This a good way of seeing the far more interesting Hidden Church once you have met the guardian. Having seen what El Nazar church church was like before restoration in 2005-2009, the restoration is amazing.

It is a very small yer impressive church. Plus since it is far from etes, it is not usually crowded and way to church is very nice. You can enjoy the view

This conical shaped church is found off a side trail in Zemi Valley and the suprise is that the frescos found inside are well preserved. Worth a brief visit.
