We had a great night of music in the castle, but the act were over 1 hour late on stage. I nearly gave up and got a taxi back to the hotel. But they were good when they came on.

Small museum, but wonderful place to explore the old architecture and history. Inexpensive. Perfect view from the tower.

The Ribat is impressive. The view from the top of the tower is worth the slick stairwell. Reading about the history (some of it was in English) made this monument even more interesting.

This ancient building can be seen from all points around the main town of Monastir Surrounded by little cafes shops and the markets it makes for a very interesting day out
