This is a very chilled out place, not your party beach. In general its clean, and there is some modernisation this season which will help . At the moment its a small beach community with free wifi at every cafe and ATM's close at hand,...More

I love this place. I’m gutted I’m 30km away. Talk about tranquility. Pretty much get an oasis to yourself. Well worth the trip

I stayed at the Marriot in Mai Khao and the beach there is the tropical paradise you have been thinking of. Beautiful long stretches of beach with hardly anyone on them! Perfect! Don’t swim as the hotels advise there are box jelly fish here. Enjoy!

Truly amazing beach with peace of mind and not crowded. Clean and white sands. In the evening watching the sunset is breathtaking. You will see crabs around sands. The overall amazing beach area.

This is a relatively quiet beach with a good ambience. I would like to take issue with another recent reviewer. It is not disgusting. There is no filth here. There is a lot of debris, which some would say adds authenticity. A significant amount of...More

A bit of touch and go - restaurants at Nai Yang beach generally close between 10pm-11pm. If you re running late, you may be better off grabbing some food at the airport first

if you go out the hotel by the beach door their is a board with times and prices. I think its around one hour trip but I didn't go there so I don't know the price.

You can always check the Phuket airport arrivals if you are concerned with flight timings. Noise wise - I was never disturbed by it even though I’m a light sleeper
