The best way to discover northern Thailand. Rent a 150cc scooter or a big bike and start your journey from Chiang Mai. The quality of the roads is excellent apart from a few occasions. It's a motorbike paradise and you can see the real countryside...More

One of the best things to do in Thailand in my experience is riding this road. I didnt have the opportunity to do the entire loop however up either side of Pai it was absolutely stunning. I recommend getting a 250 if you are a...More

If you wanna carve three or four curves at a time, and do it many many times, this is the route to take. Feels so good.

This loop is a world class bike trip. From Chiang Mai head straight to Mae Hong Son (don't stop in Pai, it's gross). We rented 300cc bikes and they were great. Don't need more than that. Had a beautifully relaxing night in MHS and then...More

I'm not really a bike enthusiast. However, after this tour I might become one. This was simply one of my best holidays. Streets are perfect, traffic almost non existent, sights all along the trip, simply but tasty and cheap food along the road, great scenery,...More

i'm shure that the loop is amazing by bike, but if you don't feel comfortable with riding this long road a car is a good option.
