Parking is available in front of a small market then walk through local market. A final point of market is starting point of train stop " Tham Kra Sae " .Walking along the railway, a small cave, there is a Bhuddha inside.

Take the train from river Kwai bridge station at +\-10:45 and enjoy the ride through to Tham Kra Sae bridge. Train stops both ends of this wooden trestle bridge. Get off at the 2nd stop and start walking back over the bridge. Small cave on...More

We were kayaking past the bridge while the train was crossing the bridge. This was a stunning view. The bridge seems sturdy enough after all these years.

You can walk a long stretch of the death railway and see original rails. Very moving, it was a shame some tourists do not respect the site.

This bridge is a great place to watch the train along the death railway. you can walk across the bridge (about400m), but check the train timetable. There is a cave temple at the start/end of the bridge. Great place for photos

When you buy your ticket, ask for Nam Tok. You can only buy one way at the Kwai bridge ticket office. I think you can step off at Tham Kra Sae then jump back on the next train to Nam Tok. You may have to start on the early... More

I have no idea if there would be a bus from Mallika through to Krasae but even if there was it would probably still drop off on the main road (some way from the railway). Although I might be wrong your second option of going... More
