ElephantsWorld was founded in 2008 and is a sanctuary for sick, old, disabled, abused and rescued elephants, who will receive the rest and joy that they deserve.

They can enjoy themselves in their own natural environment here until their last breath.

At ElephantsWorld we work for the elephants, instead of them for us!

As a visitor you get to enjoy very memorable experience with these beautiful animals. You can help us with taking care of them by feeding them, gathering food and bathing them.

The visit is expensive, but I'm happy to give money to an organization that is doing such important work. The day was fun, the guides were awesome, and it was a truly moving experience to spend so much time close to these amazing animals, interact with them, and watch them just being elephants.

I've been to a couple of elephant centres but they were not in the same league as this place. It's a full day affair where you get involved in feeding, cleaning, preparing food etc plus some video, info sessions. It's completely absorbing and you end up admiring the passion of these people and adoring the elephants. If you ever get... More

This had to have been my favorite experience while in Thailand. Those creatures seem as if they are so at peace. Watching the mahouts display such mastery of heir craft was amazing. The diverse staff from all over the world was some of the friendliest in the whole country.

Thank you very much for your review. It's very unfortunate what happened to you at the end of your day. I would like to let you know that the owner of ElephantsWorld was made aware of your situation by your hotel, and took appropriate actions to the driver who let you change cars. More

You will help prepare food, feed them, go to the river and give them a bath and lots of other stuff. In the overnight stay we also got to bath them again in the morning, walk them to there sleeping place... More

The center is a very good way to participate to the preservation of the elephants in Thailand. Very friendly staff! Overall amazing day.

It was hard to see the misery humans do to these animals. We liked to feed them, wash them and walk with them to the river. Great overall experience! The lunch was good with lots of variety (even vegetarian) We highly recommend ElephantsWorld

We found the whole day really fun and enlightening. The staff was open and kind and taught us a ton. The elephants were amazing and as the day goes on, everyone gets a little more relaxed and so by the time you are bathing the elephants in the river, you really feel pretty brave about it!

Really enjoyed our day at ElephantsWorld. Not the usual commercial elephant park. Nice to give back to the elephants and take part in their day - preparing food, feeding and bathing. No elephant riding here but plenty of do and you leave with feelings of having contributed to the betterment of these wonderful animals. Nice to have all the young... More
