Good orthodox church to visit
Oct 2021 • Solo
Make sure you cover your hair if you are a woman before you enter. I wanted to visit this church and it's service. I am from a similar religion so was looking forward to service.

Although sign says Christian church of Thailand it's in fact Russian orthodox. The priests were using the Russian language and it's a beautiful church.

You can take pictures and video the service. It's worth a visit.

Now please note, being a Russian Orthodox, no seats so you will be standing and if you are a woman, cover your hair or you maybe told to do so as I did.

Having lived in Russia, I have not seen this before but I am thinking this is a the strictest form of Russian Orthodox, so please respect their rules.

It's service was on a Sunday at 0920hrs.

It's worth a visit just to see the church itself.

This is a good activity to do when you visit Bluport, isnce it is very close to the mall. It is a little bit hidden and was recently erected by the local orthodox community. Very beautiful and colourful

Somewhat hidden but interesting place
May 2017 • Couples
Looked forward to visiting the Orthodox Church after reading the reviews, and it was indeed somewhat hidden (around 1.5km into Soi 102). No one was there on Saturday afternoon except a Thai man resting in the shade there who said we could visit. Entered to find an extravagantly embellished interior, with all bible materials written in Russian (few with Thai translations). With no expectations before arriving, it was an interesting place.

After investigating online I finally managed to find this jewel.
You have to walk a lot !!!! After the Bluemall just walk 2 km landinward on that terrible, dangerous and filthy soi 94 ., then turn left and after fighting off nasty dogs you finally see this wonderful place of spirit and worship.
A pity the streets are so bad.
I loved the sight of a real russian church in asia.
Really beautiful and worth the walk.

Superb church. So beautiful from the inside with lots of colours and shapes used. It is well hidden so you need directions.

What a Colorful Sight
Jun 2016 • Couples
We followed the directions given in the other reviews and found the church on a turn off to the left down Soi 102.
We climbed the stairs at the front that had no hand rail and was amazed how beautiful this church was inside.
It looks really good outside with all the colorful onion shapes on the roof.
We could not find anyone inside the church so we had a quick look around and quietly left.
It is well worth a visit.

Spiritual Island in Hua Hin
Jan 2016 • Friends
The Orthodox Church in Hua Hin was open just recently, in February 8, 2015. It is situated in couple kilometers from the Market Village in 102 soi. It is devoted to the family of the last Russian tzar Nicolas 2 who visited Hua Hin in the end of 19-th century. Tzar Nicolas 2 and majority of his family were killed by bosheviks in Russian city of Ekaterinburg in 1918. There are treasures in the Hua Hin Orthodox Church such as personal cross of princess Tatiana and sacred icon from Tzarskoe Selo church, where Russian poet Alexander Pushkin lived and studied. The Orthodox Church is open every day from 8.a.m. till 8 p.m. Church services organized at 6 p.m. in working days and in 9 a.m. in week ends and holidays. Russian priest Father Andrey serves in this church.

Surprise...
Jan 2016 • Solo
I found this beautiful attraction quite by accident. It is well hidden off Soi 102, approx. 1.5km west from Petchkasem Rd. Watch for green street signs. The church was open, I had a chance to see its beautiful interior and special decorations as it was Russia's Christmas day (Jan 7 2016).
