The railway station and the railway hotel are a must visit in Hua Hin. Even when you arrive by the train, go back, sans luggage, just to explore. Railway stations from 1920's are not around much. This one was opened in 1911 and was rebuilt in 1926. It features Royal Waiting Room. The guy at the ticket counter will however... More

From modernity point of view, there is nothing to write about this railway station .But as far as heritage is concerned, this is one of the best attractions of Hua Hin. It is a world heritage site, doubly worthy. The wooden waiting room for the royal family was transplanted here. It is very cute. The manual dong announcing arrival and departure of trains... More

I took the train to Bangkok from Hua Hin and was surprised and amazed to see this beautiful train station so close to my hotel. Lots of photo opportunities and very beautiful. Before each train the station master rings a bell to announce its arrival. Cool!

Its not a place to stop for long, as it is only a small railway station, but its just so pretty. Railway buildings like this are few and far between (there are a couple of similar ones in Sam Roi Yot and Prachup Khiri Khan), but this is so well preserved. It gives a complete feeling of the long passed... More

This is a small and quaint train station preserved from older days. It's pretty and warrants some photos. However, it's not particularly special by Asian standards (no idea about architectural value as I'm in no way an expert on that) and would not be worth the time/effort to travel just to see it, if you are not already staying in... We took a walk to this station while staying nearby, it is a pretty little station and is very well maintained. You don't need long to have a look around and take some nice pictures but it was worth the visit when we were in the area

The old station is beautiful and reminds one of past times. It is quickly seen, but you can do when visiting the market across the street anyway.

Pretty little train station with waiting room for Thai Royal family in separate building, painted in red and cream. Well-maintained and a must when visiting Hua Hin.Tasty snacks available as are good photo oportunities. Entrance is free and anyone can visit anytime!
