I really enjoyed learning kitesurfing in this KBA school located in Alley 83. First, this spot is not crowded so you have plenty of space to learn and practice. Secondly, ,there are plenty of equipment available to feet your need. Finally, people here are wonderful. I did not only learn kitesurfing there, I made new friends too. I had a... More

I've been hanging out and kiting with the KBA team for around 6 years now. They have a nice shop and storage lockers to keep all of your equipment that's right on the beach. I've also bought a few kites and some other gear from them and the prices are the best I could find.

Jerry was my coach - I was riding downwind after 3 lessons, and riding upwind after 5 lessons. Very personalized and very patient instructor. The facility is great too - all the equipments required, and the beach boys to help launch and land . . . Now I am completely addicted to kiteboarding . . . and I bought and... More

Did a 1 day refresh course. Equipment was good, thai instructor spoke good English (and the owner/manager spoke Norwegian). Would recommend for beginners/intermediate as the southern part of the beach is a lot less crowded than elsewhere. Would recommend jellyfish-pants to anyone kiting in Hua Hin. Better to hurt your pride and self-asteem than your skin.

Overestimated place for kitesurfing. Inconsistent rather light wind and a lot of jellyfish. The stuff of the kiteshop i attended were very friendly and the prices reasonable. The prices for the kites are among the best. But still the conditions in Hua Hin in general are not as good as i expected.

Review about KTA school in Huahin, and Huahin in general as spot where to learn kitesurfing for a beginner. The staff is very friendly. I was able to show up at anytime and start a lesson on the spot without any booking, that was convenient. The price is quite competitive I think compared to Europe or even China. 11000baht for... They offer paddle boarding too......a surf board you stand on and paddle with a huge oar to move......not as easy as it sounds as it is all about balance but we soon got the hang of it. It cost THB300 per hour which is a bargain, however, the abundance of jelly fish put some of us off as we were... More
