The turnoff to this floating market has a big signboard saying this is the largest floating market in Asia. Obviously there are no regulation on what sort of outright lies advertisements can say in Thailand, because this place is an absolute disgrace. It's not a...More

Sorry for those whom might get feelings hurt for this, but this is waste of time and MONEY! Thai people entry = walk in farang = 200thb. Oh yes you get to see some freaky dance show... If you spend like a day in it....More

This market is very interesting with many local shops and many delicious restaurants. Coconut ice cream is the best and is very cheap. The big bowl noodle is also very interesting. We are glad to be here! We do recommend you to visit this market!

Wanted to visit and buy some clothes that were to cost less than the entry fee. Didn't bother and went elsewhere. Why pay to buy! Thais go free.

Few points to highlight the features of this place (Unfortunately only negative) 1. Double price standard (higher for foreigners or foreigners-residents) as the overwhelming majority of Thai 'historical' sites not justifying the total lack of service and quality. 2. This is not a floating market...More

Feel sorry for the people working there in order to earn money for a living. The Managment tries to scare the farang away by charging them to pay money before they can Spend money. Rudiculous!! I give them 2 more years before they have to...More

I never got the idea of this market around a lake. You could pat a goat, buy a hat or feed the fish, but it all seemed very artificial. Not recommended.

Not a floating market, angry to have paid entrance fee, shops are mediocre. We made the best of it by walking around - trying out some local delicacies and shopped for “Birkenstocks”. Skip if you can.
