As from 1st October 2017 we are proud to announce that trekking will no longer be offered at Hutsadin, instead we offer our visitors a range of activities that promote a close interaction with our elephants. In a safe environment for both elephant and visitor. Here you can take a bareback ride, walk with an elephant, shower and feed them or simply visit us. We also offer educational talks 3 days a week and a 3 hour mahout experience is available twice a week. Check out our website activities page where you will find full descriptions of the activities that we offer along with costs.

This is a hard review to write. People here seem like they think they are helping the elephants and I guess it’s better than working elephants being mistreated or abandoned when they are too old to work, but not by much. They are still chained...More

This is a hard review to answer but as always I will with total honesty, So firstly we are not and have never called ourselves a sanctuary - those visitors who have taken the time to talk to volunteers liken us to a safe haven...More

I'm not sure which activity you chose so it's hard for me to comment on the pricing. I think the main thing is that you had a great time, met a lot of hard working people and made memories - that's priceless :)

This foundation is very important for the protection of elephant. People who work there are very friendly and they love what they do for elephants. We make a very good and interesting visit. Highly recommanded especially with children. I hope the best for this foundation.

We only charge for the activity that you choose to do, so prices vary. I'm afraid we are no longer to give the free tour. Check out our website, address on this page and go to the activities page for our options :)

There is an ATM machine close to the foundation and there is a restaurant next to us in the Mauy Thai stadium - not sure if they serve western food.
