It is a joke for the name of the ride

After reading many reviews both my and my husband regretted booking trip but wanted to check that everything was okay here. We arrived at 8.00am there was only us there. We met our elephant for the ride, a lovely 35year only lady elephant. She seamed happy and quite a character, while out on our ride she sent away stray dogs... More

This elephant village is NOT what we expected. The ride was too expensive for a FAKE jungle ride. We felt so sad that they hit the elephant we were riding so hard so he moved the way they want him to moved. Never again we will ride on the elephant.

Went to visit the Elephant Village in a group during our stay in Hua Hin. The immediate impression we got was that this is all about the money. From the time you enter the grounds everything is money orientated. We were taken aback at how depressed looking the Elephants were. On the ride around the grounds the Elephants were shaking... Visited in 2012, but forgot to review. It was a reasonable experience, hot and a little uncomfortable, but a worthwhile ride...something ticked off my wish list

Whilst I cannot profess to knowing how elephants really ought to be kept, this place really left you thinking that this was not it: - Two elephants were kept separate from the others, chained up. - A baby elephant was made to perform tricks with a mouth organ. - We were shown bracelets to buy made from elephant's teeth (not... We went here mainly to support the place. They take in old elephants that people don't want anymore, so any help is appreciated. The elephants are well looked after and go to the mountain in the evenings to sleep, which I think is lovely. A basket of fruit cost 200bht, and you can have photos taken, and go on an... More

We never asked to come to this one we asked to go to hutsadin foundation which is from what I hear non profit and doesn't make animals ride bikes or hit them with sticks. If like us you went to both you'll see the difference. Make the effort and walk another hundred metres uphill to the real elephant sanctuary of... More

Riding an elephant was a life time dream, so this was dream accomplished. The staff seem to really care for the elephants. I dislike animal circus acts, so I was not pleased to see them put an elephant on a bicycle.
