The Lake in Khao Sok national park is something you should visit when you are in the area. We made the day trip with Gaby and Odty on tour based in Khao Lak. (WhattsApp +66899081763). Driving with a luxery minibus 2 hours to the dam, longtail boatride on the lake, refreshments on a floating restaurant, boattrip to a second lake... More

I imagine that the town of Khao Sok is much like what the town of Banff, Alberta was like in the 1930's before it became a major tourist destination, when people who were interested in hiking and nature were the only ones who showed up. Living in Hanoi, it was great to truly be in nature, and see vast tracks... More

Khao Sok national park is absolutely beautiful, it is very quite and peaceful. I took a tour and I stayed in the floating rafthouses for one night and enjoyed a walk through the jungle to the cave. It was a very good experience and I also had the opportunity to meet some lovely fellow travellers. I would definately recommend going... More

Even though we decided to take a group tour, something we rarely if ever do, we had a fantastic time here. The caves are beautiful, and so much fun. Be sure to trek to/fro as this really is worth it and not particularly taxing. It's cool in the jungle and lots of interesting flora and fauna. Definitely visit Khao Sok... More

With breathtaking scenery, marine and wildlife abundance, the park is probably the most beautiful part of Thailand!

A beautiful place. Wonderful nature. Fun hikes into the jungle, Peaceful morning boat rides checking out the wildlife. More touristy than it used to be, you'll want to get yourself to a distant corner away from the crowds of Chinese and Thai day trippers.

I travelled with 2 friends my age in their mid-twenties. Before arriving in Thailand we were a bit unsure how to get to Khao Sok NP & the Lake from Phuket (i.e. whether we could get there on our own or needed a tour, which tour to do and with which company, which website to book from). Decided we would... More

We stayed at Elephant Hills in the park. A luxurious tented hotel experience. We got to trek through the jungle, kayak down the river and, most importantly, wash and feed elephants! Highly recommended.

Beautiful landscapes, bamboo, white water river with waterfalls and pools, different species of monkeys, spiders, reptiles, marvelous butterflies. You can hire a local guide for a half day hike in the park. The hiking is easy and convenient for families with smaller children. The guide was friendly, could speak English and made masks, pipes and cups of bamboo for the... More
