It's like any night market in Taipei except it is huge as it has expanded out. There were the usual food although you can get the same in Taipei (in fact some were better), cheap electronics and clothes. If you go with this mindset, you'll enjoy the night market. Forget a proper dinner if you plan to try the food... More

My family was allured by the fame of loads of local food in the night market. We went as early as 6 pm immediately after landing! Indeed Indisputable fame! The market was already packed with lanes of ant-walking people from both directions. Food stalls lined up on both sides of the alley. We were overwhelmed by the dazzling signboards, deafening... would be complete without at least visiting their night markets. And this one in Taichung is the most popular one. Whole area filled with hundreds of street vendors and shops, on a nice night it is just wonderful experience. Now, it's not gourmet food we are talking about, just plenty of cheap good street foods if you don't mind the... More

Food hunting was what we planned to do and we were not disappointed, got to taste so much great street snacks at one go. They even sell butter beer. Takoyaki is something you must try (people say), I tried and it was only okay. The famous stinky tofu are found in a few stores here, variety of flavours, you may... More

We went there for shopping and food. Some food are nice and some are just so so only. Guess they are coming out with a lot ideas on the food in order to sell. A lot of varieties. As we do not know which one is nice, so we can only depend on our luck. Mostly look good on the... More

Simply can't finish walking through the entire night market within a night. Recommend to spend at least two nights to have the stomach space to try everything. Easy to walk around.

Keep on walking and you can find all sorts of food waiting for you. Be careful of your belongings as it will be very crowded. Enjoy!

Fengjia Night Market is a must-see if you're in Taichung. It gets very busy and crowded at night, and the early evening is usually a little calmer, though not every stall and/or store is open yet. Fried mushrooms, ice cream, tea, and sushi are just a few of the available foodstuffs. There are also shops for clothing, electronics, etc. I... More
