It's my second time taking the High speed rail to Tai Chung. Very easy and well connected to other train stations. Although it was a peak season in November where there is a lot of passengers traveling and taking the Hsr. Spacious leg room and...More

But why does it not go straight to Taipei airport? That is very inconvenient. Travel in Businessclass, it is not expensive but quiet and spacious.

Took a shuttle bus from Taipei Taoyuan International Airport to the High Speed Rail Station. Prepare exact change of NT$30 per person. Frequent service. Reached Taichung within 2 hours of touching down in Taipei.

An absolute MUST for traveling between Taipei, Taichung and Tainan when in Taiwan !! Clean way to travel quickly from one part of the country to another. Shops and eateries in each station. Stops easily marked. Announcements in English and local language.

On arriving in Taiwan the best way to travel from South to North is the high speed rail, it will cut hours off your travel time and is way cheaper than hiring a car and very comfortable

It's easy to drive to the station when you have private transportation, but it's hard to get there from the city center by public transit.

Accessible and easy to get on HSR even in the last minute. Very efficient and fast esp. young train conductor was very courteous and helpful. Very pleasant trip. Will travel more throughout the island with HSR if stay in Taiwan longer.

The train itself is very clean and well kept. Staff were going around to offer food and beverage. The train stations were very nice and world class! Train departs and arrives on time!

Coffee, tea or water with a small desert are free in the business class. There are food trolleys selling foods during the lunch or dinner time including but limited with Bento. They also offer other foods via mail order too
