Beautiful area which if recommend everyone to go and visit. It has diverse nature and easy to get around by a scooter. Though there won't be many signs so make sure to grab a map.Make sure to stop in order to capture the nature.

Once you arrived at this southern tip of country, you will feel the atmosphere is filled with tropical theme. During the day, you can rent a electronic motor bike to visit around the park. During the night, you can walk around the night market for some local cousins or spend a night at bar for some drinks.

The park is beautiful and very easy to walk through. There are a series of paths to stroll along and enjoy the nature around you. There are a couple of small caves to explore and the hanging banyan trees are stunning. I highly recommend spending a few hours discovering this park.

Basically, avoid Chinese New Year (unless you like crowded places!). Cycling on the busy roads wasn't very pleasant and we didn't manage to get a taxi the whole time we were there. Also, make sure that you have an International Drivers Permit because you need a vehicle to see the good bits of the park.

The national park is gorgeous with rocky ocean views of the crashing waves. Be prepared to very strong winds and wear sunglasses for eye protection from the dust. The mountains and ocean views are worth it! Check out Longpan park.

We booked a taxi for a whole day excursion of the Kenting area from Kaoshiung. After leaving Kaoshiung, we travelled along Highway 26 heading south towards the Kenting Forest Recreation Area. Taking almost 1 hour, 45 minutes to reach, the forest park was a bit of a disappointment as some exhibits were in need of maintenance. Nonetheless, it was worth... More

Big wind, windy place, relaxed people, rent an electric scooter. Pretty fun for 2 days or so. The water is OK, the beach is OK. It's super windy place. The park near the sign showing the farthest south location (I think it is called Goose Park or Swan Park, I can't remember), that has some nice hills and we had... More

It's a not a difficult climb from the main entrance. Did not see much animals, but spotted small crab that signage has warned vehicles about. View from the peak is great!
