You enter through the mouth of the dragon, look at the murals and sculptures through the inside of its body, and are left out by a six floor pagoda. Cross the bridge to the second six floor pagoda and the leave through the rear of the tiger. You can climb the spiral staircases of the pagodas. This is not the... More

The Dragon Tiger Tower, together with the Lotus Pond is a must visit when in Kaohsiung City. It's a bonus that I am currently living near this gem of a place, because it is perfect to visit after a run to the Lotus Pond. This place is perfect for visiting day and night, you can capture different but still amazing... More

Took bus 35 from berth 5 at Zuoying MRT/HSR bus bays. The nice driver is kind to alert us where to alight. Anyway you won't miss it because the prominent dragon and tiger towers can be easily spotted. Interesting place to take some photos especially if you climb up the tower. Not a place that makes you come back. Reminder:... More

Just one of the many sights to stop and admire during a walk around Lotus Pond. Really pretty interior paintings, gorgeous 360 degree views from the top. Good luck to walk into the dragon's mouth and out of the tiger's mouth. The walkway leading to the towers is zigzag to confuse the demons and keep them away from the towers.

Beautiful view on the lake and other monuments. However, these pagodas are quite modern and very crowded. Have a look at it and continue your road by walking around the lake ;)

This dragon tiger tower is the most famous place to visit in Kaohsiung. Besides this tower, it also has a river and some other small tower around the area. You can also ride the bike near the river. I spent two hours there then I continue going to the next place since I only stay in Kaohsiung for five days... More

It's worth to go and take a picture. Very colourful. Makes great pictures. But religiously speaking, I don't like it.

Not bad. Pretty unique actually. Walk in through the dragon's mouth and come back out through the tiger's mouth for good luck. Good place for a couple of pictures.
