There are heaps of boats available so no need to book in advance. Going in April when the rains haven't started yet... there were some rapids but not enough to be considered white water rafting! We drifted for the most part, there were some rapids but only 3 or 4 exciting bits out of 21km. I think it depends on... More

Its the most popular river to raft on. The river is very wide and the rafting group have about 8 - 10 raft together down. Each Boat is about 8 - 10 people. You go through a very deep valley for about 4hours and ends under a red bridge. It was a ncie rafting experience

We got recommended this rafting-trip by a guy at our hotel in Hualien, and thougt it would be fun as we have loved our previous rafting experienses in New Zealand, Australia and India. I have done this rafting trip five times, and a lot depends on the weather that time of year. If you're lucky, there haven't been any super typhoons in the area for awhile, or a drought. If you're coming in after a big typhoon, the river can be pretty unpredictable and even the guides won't know where the rough parts... More

I like the boating package cos it sent a car to pick me up from my hotel, dropped me off at the boating centre (start point). I felt safe after watching the demo video and listening to the briefing. When you got stuck by the rocks in the river, motor boats would come and push your way through. No need... More

The river water is not strong enough to have rafting activities, therefore it uses a lot of effort and energy to work on it, it even need the trainer to use motorboat to drag. Besides the safety instruction was not sufficient and most of the members do not know what to do. The rafting organizer also do not arrange each... More
