Although the tomb was closed you still get an idea of he importance of this area. The area is immaculately maintained and you can view the original artefacts in the museum. Interesting but you do miss the whole experience by not being able to enter....

Located in the Daereungwon park this is one of the only tombs that if Gyeongju that you can see from the inside. Very impressive collection of assets that were found in the grave. Absolutely worth the detour!

The tombs are enclosed in a nice park. The tombs are actually piles of stones, sand, and soil. Underneath there is a hole where once important people are resting in peace. There are many tombs in the park and some outside as well.

A simple yet elegant tomb of ancient Korean royalty. Restoration has been carefully made without compromising the integrity and reverance for the original site

Took a tour of the park and walked amongst the tombs. It is a very beautiful area that is maintained very well. One tomb is own to demonstrate the process of construction and some artefacts. Worth a visit.

This Tomb is part of a park of tombs. It is definitively one of the major draws of the area. It's only one room and very quick to walk through, but when you realize the history and context, it's very interesting. We're talking around 600AD....More
