There isn't really a tomb to see here. It is however a pretty beach area suitable for a beach walk. On the weekends, there are often shamen drumming and performing rituals on the beach. It is interesting to stand back and watch. There are nicer...More

I drove out here on a rented scooter to try and catch sunrise; I figured if the other bad reviews were accurate, at least I could get some East Sea glory. Alas, the weather turned and it was all thoroughly overcast. There really isn't anything...More

Took the bus from the city all the way here, turned out there was not much to see. The tomb was pretty cool but literally spent only 20 mins to take picture and enjoy the surrounding. The place is kind of deserted so if you...More

It was lovely even on cloudy day. The tomb is small and you can only watch it from the beach but the sea is beautiful. It is not an activity that lasts a whole day, so plan another activity for the same day you visit.

We saw this as part of our tour. Cool to note the Kings tomb was out past the reef. Not much to see that way but the beach was great and we spent a few hours on the sand and water. You can rent covered...More

the village is not a nice village , not nice houses but just a semi deserted land and the view of simple rocks cannot be discribed like a monument, it's so disappointing

Considering that the remains of King Munmu are not confirmed to be here, and that you actually cannot see any tomb, apart from a reef, I would skip the visit all along, unless you want to enjoy the beach and seaside. It is more interesting...More

The Tomb of King Munmu (7th century)cannot be seen since it is placed under water between two rocks off shore. These can be seen and one can imagine the king's burial at his request so his spirit would take the shape of a dragon to...More

All it is: Piles of rocks It's really far from many other things and the bus only passes by in 40-50 intervals. The bus sign is small and hard to see The sea is nice and all, but not worth the bus ride

This was a nice place to spend some time at the ocean. You can rent umbrella tables and there is a variety of food and souvenir shops. The tomb area is just off the coast and at times there are monks that swim out to...More

It's located on the east coast, so sunrise is the time to go. The sun sets behind you in the hills. Evening photos around Anapchi Pond look more interesting than the beach. If you want a good sunrise, follow the crowds up to... More
