I can't praise the C.H. Evans Brewing Company (aka The Albany Pump Station) enough. We think so highly of it that we had our wedding reception in the upstairs mezzanine--a fantastic cocktail party for around 100 people, who enjoyed live jazz music while sampling the...More

I've lived in this area for over ten years and despite numerous disappointing experiences at this restaurant, I continue to go in hopes that things will change. Here's the deal: this is a really cool brew pub in a large historic building. The beer is...More

Wait staff was very good but my Spouse meal was under cooked and terrible. Nothing Fancy, just Burgers and pasta. Only average across the board, plus beer was actually luke warm!

This history of the building is told by its working parts still visible above the bar and restaurant. Very interesting to my engineer husband. Visited on a food tour and sampled a few beers and cider. A busy place.

This place has a really good brewery atmosphere. The burgers and sandwiches are also amazing. Obviously the beer was really good. Highly recommended.

Great location in downtown Albany close to the Hudson River. Came here and had 2 of their beers and some lunch and was very satisfied with both. I sat at the bar and bartender was very friendly and attentive. They also have a full bar...More

The food is very good and reasonably priced. The beer is great. Try the flight of samples. My favorite was the Kick Azz Brown Ale. The steak is very tasty. Quick and friendly service.

Great beer selection. Service was fast, even with large event nearby. Had several different menu selections - pear & goat cheese salad, chicken thigh sand, Mac n cheese, & a steak. All good.

We were here in October 2015 and were impressed. Not so much this time. The fish and chips were mediocre. There was an electrical problem and we ate basically in the dark. Other diners were using their cell phone flashlights to read the menu. We...More

Food is average to below average on the best day and there are plenty of other area brewpubs with better beer. This place is nothing special, but typical of the Albany area. Not sure how anyone could give this place a better rating, unless they've...More
