This is just a beautiful "old school" historic theatre. We had the pleasure of experiencing the Palace on a recent visit to see Lewis Black. Parking is available close by, the restrooms are fairly spacious and ample, and there is surprisingly ample legroom and seating...More

Retro Classic Theater. Really cool to see a concert or a movie. Very easy to get to by car. Easy in and easy out. Restaurants nearby. Plenty of parking.

Last night we went to the Palace Theatre to see an original play, Find Your Way Home, an Irish musical. We were able to obtain second row seats and enjoyed the play. The Palace also provides free parking at the Quackenbush Garage, always a plus.

The Palace theater has been going through a refurbishing and is looking terrific. The events they have are first class and the staff is always very nice

An amazing concert! The Palace was the perfect place for the young, three tenors to display their vocals.

This was the grand, old movie palace of Downtown Albany...the Albany version of Radio City as an example. It is now used for concerts and shows and is a great venue even if the place is showing a bit of age. Great acoustics.

I've never watched a show from the balcony but I would think the seats would be good. Personally I prefer aisle seats about half way up on the floor

I would totally feel safe. Especially during a concert or performance because lots of people are around.

Both. If you're going after regular business hours, parking is relatively easy to find. There is a garage that is less than a five minute walk away.
