One of the oldest in the country, this lovely museum had a vast collection of regional art and artifacts and a trove of historical treasures. Most notable is the Hearst Gallery, which features an impressive collection of paintings from the Hudson River School.

$10 is General Admission. They offer free admission on Thursdays starting at 5 p.m. through 8 p.m.
