We saw a comedy show. Upon reading the reviews, we were nervous about not finding parking and how much of a walk to and from in the outside weather. So earlier in the day we drove down to check it out. We didn’t take the...More

View and sound are so excellent. Not a bad seat in the house. Perfect venue for musical guests. I have seen Ken Mo, Robert Cray, Boz Skaggs, Leon Russell, Lyle Lovett, Leon Russell, and many others. Acoustics are really great!

Two halls - one just less than 500, the other just under 1000, where you can see and hear from every seat. Nicely sloped. One concert I was in the second row, and was closer to the main singer than the bass player on the...More

The Egg (actually it doesn't look at all like an egg; I'd say more like a clam) is a performing arts venue operated by the State of New York and situated (literally) on top of a state office complex. I've seen concerts at two of...More

Loved it. Better leg room than most. Great, unobstructed views of the stage (from where I sat) and helpful staff. Architecture is delightfully whimsical and a breath of fresh air to the mediocre cattle boxes we’re herded into for entertainment.

This will not be a review of the artist— that was absolutely amazing— but rather of the venue itself. The Egg is an Egg-shaped building located downtown near The Trans Union building and the Museum. Parking is only $5.00! There is also free parking at...More
