We went with our kids on a daytrip to this little island. The kids were thrilled about the big turtles that they were allowed to pet. There was also cute baby turtles. We went along a trail through dry mangrove swamp with big crabs to a very nice beach very we had a barbecue arranged. A really nice day!

The Wild tortoise centre is very interesting where they look after newly born tortoises until they are 5 or older, there is also a research unit studying the the breeding of lemon sharks

Visited here while on a catamaran trip. A nice break to walk over the track to see the tortoises. The walk takes about 40 minutes, take water with you as it can be hot. There are nice points of interest along the way and it was good the see the tortoise free to roam around on the island.

Extremely unfriendly staff , rude from the very beginning.Nivelle , the manager of King Kreole promised us 80-90 minutes of snorkeling but we ended up doing it for only 50 minutes. After telling this to the staff on the boat we were replied in an extremely rude way that now he is the boss and we have not more than... More

Went here with the company 7 Degrees South. The visit to Curieuse was interesting and we got to see the awesome land turtles close up as they were curious and we were able to feed them.

Great trip in Curieuse, with an easy trail and a trip to the mangroves, where you can see hundreds of huge crabs. At noon, stop at the beach on the east side, to see and feed the free huge turtles - amazing experience. The food is also to die for, very simple, but very tasty. Combine it with a St.... More

Turtles on land living in freedom. The young turtles are caged to protect them from theft. Mangroves swamp by a long trail on the island. Unfortunately it was low tide when visiting so it was very dry. If it is high tide you can see stingrays and sharks in the water. But it was a nice walk. A lot of... More

Our hotel had a guy who took us here by boat from the beach. Short trip across from the main Praslin Island. You have to pay a fee to be on the island. There are giant turtles everywhere. Running around and looking for food. The come and eat out of your hand. Very fun. They roam free. We had to... More
