Went snorkeling there with the dive shop. Had an absolute blast - so much different fish, sting rays, etc. One of the best snorkeling we've done not only in Seychelles but in the world. The coral is mostly dead, which is unfortunate, but the bay still teems with life. Saw some fish here that we haven't seen anywhere else, which... More

We went to the bay for some self organised snorkeling. Approached from the south till the end of the road, parked the car and walked the last 500 meters or so. The bay is very shallow at the start and descends slowly. Better have some water shoes for the walk in and then snorkel with fins. There are stone fish... More

We wanted to show the beautiful marine biodiversity to the kids that are not old enough for scuba diving then we decided to go for snorkeling at the Baie Ternay Marine National Park and what we can say is that the place worth coming!!! Situated on the Cape Ternay north of Mahe Island, the Marine Park is well conserved and... More

this place deserves a visit or an excursion; a fantastic place not to be found in any place in the Seychelles; snorkeling is highly recommended!

The area was close to our resort, Constance Ephelia, and they organised the excursion for us. I've been to other countries for snorkeling but this one was by far the best. If you're lucky, you'll see turtles too. I think they do some scuba trips too a little away from this shore.

We did a full day trip called Marine Reef Safari at Mahe with Masons Travel. This package included a wonderful catamaran ride, lunch, glass boat ride, snorkelling in the Indian Ocean, an island visit......the list is just endless. The entire day went off in a flash and the experience was mind boggling. All the aspects were well handled barring the... More

For all those travelers that would like to see this fantastic place for the last time, you'd better get there quickly. The dredgers are moving into position to create a 'paradise' for the elite tourist. You send you gratification to Emirates for their wanton destruction of an rare ecosystem and national Seychelles treasure. So long and thanks for the amazing... More

Beaufiful place for snorkeling. We reached this place by the travel agency of our hotel. I'm not an expert but to do snorkeling in this area was one of my best experieces on Seychelles.

It's not possible to get to Baie Ternay by car, so we went to Port Launay, got on a glass bottom boat (50€ each person for 4 hours). We spend a lot of time snorkling here. We saw at least 100 different kinds of fish in many beautiful colors and we enjoyed it a lot! We went there in September,... More
