We went there last August and the sea was very rough. Nonetheless it was a beatiful beach, full of wild life and perfect for a walk as the sun was setting.

Anse intendance, in spite of the presence of the Banyan tree resort (which stays discreet), stays one of the most beautiful beach of Mahé. On this wonderful South West coast, the beach is easy to join and find. On the last part of the road...More

The sea here is glowing blue. You can not believe your eyes. It is bit away from city center, but worth the travel. The sea could be little rough here, so don't dare unless you know, how to swim. There are some palm trees and...More

We spent a few minutes clicking pictures at Anse Intedance before moving to the better Anse Royale. The beach was nice long and not very wavy but still we did not go swimming.

The blue waters of Anse Intedance are nice to spend some time clicking the pictures but for me it is not a beach which stands ahead of Anse Royale with its aquamarine waters. Plus its very far for those staying on the North side of...More

You can access it easily without any problem. Just bear in mind, that there are no beach facilities around (e.g. showers, toilets, food stalls), so you will have to take everything you need with you.

There are no facilities of any kind anywhere near this beach, except for one hotel. You will have to search elsewhere. It is still worth visiting though, because it's beautiful.
