Beaches, like food, depend on your taste and preferences.
For me, this was undoubtedly a beautiful beach but for natural shade and calmer swimming waters, personally a prerequisite, Beau Vallon or anse Lazio on Praslin trumps this one.

We were here 25 years ago with no hotel at that time near the beach. But we still loved it as 25 years ago !
The Banjan Tree Hotel at the north end of the beach does not disturb the beauty at all.
