The Le Jardin Du Roi Spice Garden is located on the southern part of Mahe Island in the coastal mountains. The garden has a wide variety of trees and shrubs that produce spices -cloves, cinnamon, pepper, and allspice to name a few. There are also...More

It is very difficult to find this place, but it is definitely worth to visit that. You will need to climb with the your car very steep hill, narrow road to "somebody's home", but finally, when you are there, you can start enjoining that. The...More

A garden which is maintained well with good care. Lots of herbs and trees. Those are from india will not feel anything exciting as most of the items are available in India except the Seychelles special male and female coconut. This garden is well arranged...More

Wonderful display of plants, trees and flowers set in a lush environment. You definitely need a map with the legend of all that is there to really gain appreciation for the different types of plants, spices, etc. There are a number of large turtles, cousins...More

The gardens are nice, but really worthwhile only for botanists. I personally prefer Mahe's many regular hiking trails which are all free, vs. the 125 SRC one had to pay at this garden.

If you like plants, social history, wildlife or just a beautiful walk and a nice cafe/restaurant then your trip to Seychelles is not complete until you have been here. Getting to the garden is not well signposted, so you may need to stop and ask....More

I have never seen vanilla, pineapples or something like that grow and that was very interesting. With the numbers at the trees and a map it's easy to find out what is what. A very sweet garden taken care of with love and a very...More

Absolutely magnificent garden! There's a mix of native plants, exotic plants, medicinal plants and spice plants. And a few Coco de Mer trees. You can also spot a few pairs of the Seychelles Bulbul (merle). The entrance fee is also cheap. There's a restaurant as...More
