This is a great location to experience. Our hotel is located here. We've explored for three days from this location.

Tiberias is hot during spring, summer and autumn, it's not nice to be there, it's really humid. There is not much to see in the city itself. there is a large jewish community and they are really strict in a cpl of things, so everything is closed on shabbat, you can't eat dinner on Friday, except for 1 restaurant and... Tiberias is a lovely city on the banks of the Sea of Galilee (Lake Kinneret). This historic city combines historical sites amid the new and modern additions, which offer the traveler numerous days of touring, fun, education, and relaxation. Walk amid the original site of the Tiberias Hot Springs where one may still view the Turkish baths, and ancient synagogue.... More

A small town, with a down town shopping street, but visible that the economy is hard, like closed shops. There is a Shopping Mall as well, but not visited.

This ancient Roman spa city has been enjoying its fame for two thousand years. It is located on Western shore of Sea of Galilee and still it is a good base for tourists exploring the area. There is a small port, promenade, many restaurants and lovely places. We did not spend much time in this lovely town and the weather... More

Tiberias is quite small, cozy and safe place. I stayed here for 3 days. If I had stayed longer I would've gone to some trips to see the area of Galilee more. If you stay here longer, there is not that much to see besides the trips. I did like it though, I could walk everywhere and dipping in to... More
