The place is great for obtaining all "Tzfat" related visitor information. In addition, it's the location where you can go down quite a few stairs revealing streets/alleyways underground of the city that was.....

Great place to start your tour of the old city. The lady in the center was able to tell us the best places to go (and best route to take) with our little kids. Our kids also had fun exploring the excavations underneath the center....More

We stopped in the visitor center to learn more about Safed and the Underground tours. The staff was very friendly. Inside the Visitors’ Center are excavation tunnels. They are one of the local tourist attractions. The tunnels are leading to 16th century Tzfat street level...More

Tzfat definitely has organized tours! Contact or stop by the visitors center in the Old City to schedule a tour with a licensed private guide.
