Visiting Tzfat
Mar 2019
The old city of Safed has become an artist centre and a ste for Kabbalistic learning. We visited some of the craft shos and my wife pushased some jewellery. We did not delve into the kabbalistic side of the city.

Learn a bit about Kabbalah
Oct 2018 • Friends
We went with a group to listen to a talk about Kabbalah. Our entertaining orthodox rabbi gave us insight into mystical and spiritual teachings of Kabbalah.

Nice guide and welcoming center
Jul 2018 • Family
Had a nice, short tour of Sefat. The guide was knowledgeable and showed us around. One note was that we wanted a wine and cheese tour but it seemed like this was an afterthought versus being the main part. Also the wine and cheese wasn’t “included”. We did goto a nice winery with good cheese and wine.

Small facility
Mar 2018 • Friends
My group met with a rabbi that gave us a talk on Kabbalah and Purim. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Very entertaining. They have items they sell too. On second floor. Plan on spending at least an hour if you come for a talk.

Very Interesting Artist
Nov 2017 • Friends
This gentleman was originally from Dearborn Michigan. Then came to Israel where he is a famous artist. He explained about his life and work of art and it was very interesting to here. Most of us bought some of his art.

Using biology and psychology to explain God
Jun 2017 • Couples
The Kabbalah Center is Safed (Tzfat) promotes the study of Jewish mysticism (Kaballah) through relationship of biological and psychological anatomy in the five books of Moses (Torah) to explain and answer such questions as "who am I?" "Who is God?" "What is the World?" "Why did God create me?" The study of Kabbalah has become very popular recently among the glitterati such as Madonna and others.

Spiritual and amazing
Aug 2017
This old city is so incredibly quaint and beautiful. We had an amazing guide who showed us around town. Two interesting stories were that the earthquake hit tzfat many years ago because g-d wanted to encourage people to make the trip to Jerusalem. Also, there is an alleyway that a woman used to sit on the end of with various drinks for when the messiah would come. This amazing alleyway did have a spiritual feel. One disappointment was that the Kabbalah center was so expensive. 20 shekels per person. Not worth it!

Our guide was wonderful. He shared the general concepts of Kabbalah and embodied the uplifting spirit of Kabbalah. We enjoyed the history, the stories as well as the music.

Talmudic proudness
Aug 2016
It was not easy to find this open air museum, also known als Ancient Park. Signs and explanations are in Hebrew. There was no guided tour. It shows mainly old crafts and buildings from the Talmudic period. A rather nationalistic and propagandistic film is shown about the origine of the Mishna and Talmud. Not being an orthodox Jew, I felt a bit lost.
