Takes Your Breath Away
Feb 2020
The view is breathtaking, but knowing Jesus stood here and the crowd threatened to throw Him off is what really stops your breath. You can literally see for miles and miles. Comfortable hike on paved path up and large bolders to sit on once you arrive.

Inspiring autumn where sky talk to the land

The nature authorities set the place properly, clean and accessible. The view is great and when weather planning to be rainy you see the land from the skyline

Overview is worth the time!
Jul 2019
The overview of Nazareth with the Church of Annunciation, the Jezreel Valley, Mt Tabor and extended areas is well worth the short time (30 minutes max) necessary to view the area with an explanation.

Absolutely amazing view and incredible history!
Jun 2019
I've read some other reviews of this site that speak of garbage/etc. Those reviews are correct but I was completely overwhelmed with the view of the southern part of the Jezreel Valley. You could see Mt. Tabor (Deborah and Barak), (The area where Gideon fought the Midianties) and Mt. Gilboa (where Saul and his sons died) all from this peak. The thought of Jesus (vanishing/disappearing) here was fantastic.

Amazing views
May 2019
We visited here as part of a seven day Holy Land tour to discuss its meaning in the scriptures which was meaningful but the views of the countryside from here are just wonderful. It was quite windy and it is a walk from the parking area but the path is paved and although up hill, not that difficult to navigate. Worth a quick stop if just to see the views!

Embarrassed to take overseas vistors
Sep 2019 • Friends
This holy site, believed by some to be the site of the Rejection of Jesus described in the Gospel of Luke (Luke 4:29-30) is reached by a road lined with garbage and the site itself looks like its used by the local youths to drink beer and eat their pizzas. Garbage everywhere!

The area where Pope Benedict XVI celebrated a Mass on the mountain, during his visit to the Holy Land is closed off and locked and it really is a disappointing place to take anyone! The city of Nazareth and the Israel ministry of tourism should be ashamed of themselves!

Very good view
May 2019
A short drive from Nazareth, this is supposedly the place where a mob tried to throw Jesus off the mountain. I took these traditions with a grain of salt, but one thing is sure: the view of the surrounding area is spectacular.
