On our recent pilgrimage we were given the opportunity to renew our marriage vows along with five other couples. Who would have thought that we would be blessed to be in the place of the first miracle, and after 52 years of marriage that too...More

Outside of Nazareth proper and the site of Jesus's first miracle. It's a Greek Orthodox Church. Interesting icons. A bit tacky the guys selling water in bottles.

This is a modernised small town with little indication on the Wedding at Cana- unless it is in a falafel shop. Still okay to tick off places to go, as long as you keep going.

A stone's throw away from the Church of the Annunciation this is an interesting contrast in almost every respect. If you are seeing one definitely see the other.

Great place to see the place where the first miracle was performed by Jesus. The water container displayed was great to see. The chance to renew marriage vows was priceless! Too many tourists, had to use side chapel which was outdoors.

I had the privilege of leading the ceremony for 5 couples who wanted to renew their wedding vows at the place where Jesus attended a wedding and turned the water into the BEST wine.

This beautiful church. We had the blessing of renewing our marriage vows which was performed by a very good and a joyful priest. We had the full service and it was a real spiritual experience. We are so very grateful to father George. It is...More

This is a lovely church and is beautifully maintained. Take time to visit the grotto underneath where you will see a replica of one of the Jar’s similar to the one spoken in the Miracle at Cana where Jesus turned water into wine.

Unlike other sites in Israel, Cana does not offer much to help you connect to its Biblical roots. Although Cana of Galilee is where Jesus performed His first miracle of turning water into wine, nothing in the village commemorates that event.

Cana was a village that visited by Jesus during the time of a wedding. The wine had run out during the festivities and Jesus volunteered to turn water into wine. To this day in the Catholic church, pre-marriage education and counseling are called pre-Cana classes.

Greetings Commuting between cities in Israel is hassle free. You should be able to make it if you have at least 4 hours for the 180km drive (one way). In other words, you need a whole day for the trip and the ceremony.

Hi! My tour hosts make this a part of their visit every time they go. Would highly recommend you choose Footprints of God group. Or you can contact Steve Ray at catholicconvertcom for info! Best of luck!!
