This old mill turned spice shop is a place you want to visit while in Nazareth. The wealth of spices and herbs will turn your head dizzy. Even if you wan't buy anything (and the chances of that are slim..) you'll enjoy the colors and smells.

A visit to Nazareth must necessarily include a stop at Elbabour Galilee Mill, on Al-Bishara street. After entering the door, you go down a few steps and you are in Spice Paradise! Fresh spices, nuts, grains, dried fruits and tras are placed in big jars and bags in the main room. You also find kitchen utensils, candies, oils and other goods in another room. The absolute must in that Ali Baba cavern is a mix of spices perfected by the owner’s mother; it is called Pierina’s Spice, the recipe is absolutely secret and it is apparently perfect to season meats, stews and soups. This 250 years-old building, 150 years-old store has passed through many generations is a MUST! when you visit Nazareth and Israel. We can find amazing high-quality ingredient and tea with very reasonable price! The atmosphere also bring us to ancient time. Love the store, love the tea! …
