We reserved the traditional biblical meals to share, with chicken, and let me just say the foods was delicious! Warm bread made fresh in front of your eyes in the hot stone oven, served with lentil soup, hummus, and salads. Then our guide gave the tour which was also really well-done. My son enjoyed helping "Joseph" in his carpentry shop... More

On October 1, a group of my friends and I visited Nazareth Village which is located a few kilometers from the Basilica of the Annunciation. It was a very positive experience because the visit enables one to understand in a visible, tangible way what living in the time of Jesus would have been like: you could see the surrounding land,... Fun and instructional. We enjoyed learning all about Nazareth in Jesus' time. Lunch was great! It was fun to watch the flatbread being made.

We came with an extended family ages between 4-70. We took a 90 min tour. The tour was very enjoyable. The guide Amer was very knowledgeable and patient with the children question. The live presentors of a shepherd, olive picker, farm girl, carpenter, olive press operated with a donkey, and weaver, bought to live the farm life before christ. I... More

We loved the roughly 45 min tour of this outdoor museum, it was one of the highlights of our Israel trip! Excellent structure and interesting for families, groups or single travellers who want to find out more about 1st century living and culture. You will walk up and down some little but steep hills, so come prepared with good walking... More

My husband and I joined with others to form a small group at the 10.30am English tour (although everyone we came across spoke English, including 1st century Joseph the carpenter!). Our guide was very knowledgeable, the kids in our group had a go at some tools, the donkey was cute... best of all was the vegetarian lunch for 45 shekels.... More

I went to Nazareth Village today with a group from my church. The group included adults, kids and teens. I think it is one of the better spots to bring a group. The kids enjoyed the sheep and the oil press and making yarn. For the adults it was a great way to see a bit more what life was... More

I went with group of about 15 people and took the tour. We could tell that Nazareth Village had taken great pains to be accurate in their research and how they recreated the look and feel of the village form the 1st Century. The tour guide was very informative and did his best to answer our questions. The tour took... More

A great alternative to the touristy glitz of too many of the sites. Shows you what the town and environment of Nazareth was like in Jesus' day. Includes an authentic 1st century synagogue, a weaver, a shepherd, and lots of background. A refreshing shift from the crowded glitz.
