The village is very authentic and the guides are very well versed in village life in the 1st century. There are enactors who are genuinely doing the activities of the time, for example, a woman who was spinning wool into thread, a carpenter using tools...More

A visit to Nazareth is worthwhile to see the open air museum which reconstructs and re-enacts village life in Nazareth at the time of Jesus. Actors are dressed as shepherds and workers and the whole setting is very realistic.

Starting with the authentic meal, Nazareth Village is a stop worth making. The entire experience is not over-produced or super polished, but it does provide a glimpse into how things might have been 2000 years ago. Have some fun and support a good cause.

Don't let the outside put you off, this is an awesome place. The recreations are extremely well done and our host Gail is knowledgeable and easily brings the messages across with a nice touch of biblical follow up.
