See Tel Aviv highlights, from the ancient streets of Jaffa Port to Rothschild Boulevard’s Bauhaus minimalism, on a half-day, private tour that’s a personalized introduction to Israel’s vibrant capital. Traveling with a private driver-guide means you can cover more ground while still exploring at your own pace, and included transport whisks you straight to the sites from your Tel Aviv hotel.

St Anthony is a [relatively] modern church (opened in 1932). It is a nice place to visit, but does not offer anything special, at lest from a tourist perspective. While walking around Jaffa you are likely to see (and walking by) it anyway, so it is worth of spending a few mins inside.

I was walking from my hotel, after dark on Sat. evening, rather lost, & lo/behold, lights appeared ahead around this church & outside gathering area. No sign to tell me, but music inside. I stepped in just to observe & found a Catholic Mass in process, in Engl. Perfect timing! I stayed, & afterwards asked a kind lady there @ the name of this church & also, for directions to get to more familiar area. She was so gracious, an angel of God for that moment! I encountered many such people, of all different "stripes" during my visit to Jaffa & Israel, in general.

This most famous church is located by the sea and the faithfuls come here to feel blessed , and to pray . In old city of Jaffa , it it invokes the heartfelt emotions in all those who visit . The beautiful interiors have a sight to behold . The ceiling and the walls are done so artistically . Candles are lit on ether side of entrance . The calm and the serenity is felt the moment you walk in here . Within the walking distance from the Tower - starting of the old city your , it is littered with charming shops as you walk to the church . A must visit place .
