Very beautiful and striking place

Such a beautiful venue especially if you're going to a concert. It was fabulous to hear conserve a breeze blowing in the dark open skies next to the sea.

Each part of ancient Caesarea is top rated and super interesting and so is the theater. It is still in use. You can explore it in detail going up and down the rows of seats and trying the acoustics. The view of the area and Mediterranean sea from the upper levels of the theater is a great photo material too.... More

Our guide wanted to prove the acoustics. He asked a couple young men to climb up to the top of the theater. From the floor he quietly spoke to them, and they heard perfectly.

Traveling with a group. Stopped here to see the sights. Was great to see so much history and walk thru the ruins! Very moving and thought provoking. Weather was lovely in March.

I was first hear 20 years ago. Saw a concert and it left a lasting positive and powerful impression. Returned and I am as still amazed as I was the first time I visited. This summer was in another Roman Theatre (in Italy) to see opera. This theatre was as impressive as the ones in Italy - particularly considering it... More

Loved getting to walk around this. Would imagine getting to watch a concert here would be the experience of a lifetime. The entire park is well maintained and must be seen.

We visited on a rainy day, so had a quick look, interesting to consider how this must have looked, when it was being used

Although this is a 2,000 year old historical site, it is clearly seriously renovated to allow concerts to be held today. Notwithstanding, it is still an impressive site and it is good to integrate history in our modern lives.

This place is "seeped" in history this whole area. Loved being there. I was told that they have a lot of open air entertainment in this open air theater.
