This beach was beautiful and white. We enjoyed floating in the undulating water but we had to stay out 10-15 feet to avoid being pounded by the surf here. There were a number of huge rocks/coral underwater that were shocking occasionally too. Didn't see surfers here.

Had a driver take us to Mawun beach. Absolutely beautiful but waves were a bit rough. Gili Air beaches top the lot so far. Back to lombok this year to explore more.

Good waves for fooling around if you don't like flat calm beaches but make sure you / family are competent as the swell can get pretty big. Stay to the middle of the beach as to the east has underwater rocks and the Rip is to the far west. Water can get a little dirty at high tide when flotsam... More

The view of this beach is simply amazing!! Feels like in the movie. But the hawkers can be very annoying. I guess you just have to ignore them real hard!

This turquoise blue beach has beautiful view and calming atmosphere, not as crowded as Kuta Mandailika beach since it is quite remote. Unfortunately, there are too many hawkers who force visitors to buy their souvenirs. For toilet, we have to pay 5,000 IDR/person (but when I was there, there was no water available in the toilet). Probably local government should... More

Beautiful beach and warm sea which is good to swim in but if looks rough don't go in as there can be riptides. Lots of hawkers (young kids) who can bother you but I didn't mind as I wanted to drink coconut water and eat pineapple but there were no shops in that area! They do try to emotionally blackmail... The beach is nice, white sand with blue water. Only the restaurants and the locals just leave all thier ( and the seas) trash lying around. Also you will be offered various items by children. The parents of these children send them to the tourist to make money instead of sending them To school because its more profitable.

One of the most beautiful beaches I've aver seen, so sad its full of plastic cups, bags, and trash. Asked one of the little ones selling coconuts to clean a little, and she tried, but seems it's not conscious the locals have. Worth the visit! Have a fresh coconut and pineapple - fresh and sweet!

Once of the nicer beaches in South Lombok that is not so packed with people. On a good sunny day, the beach looks outstanding if there is no rubbish washed up with the tide. The typical beach with annoying hawking of pineapples, beer and coconuts. If you get there with your scooter you have to pay IDR10,000 for the entry and if... More
