Many, many impressive and beautiful candle and incense filled Taoist and Buddhist shrines for deceased relatives. Said to be the largest in Medan.

A bit out of the city center but worth a visit. Beautiful dragon ornaments and option to purchase your invents and candles make this a perfect representation of the Chinese community in Medan.

Ask the betak motorcycle to take you here for not over 20.000 rupiah. Seat 3. Very beautiful old temple with hundreds of ancient Taoism god, goddess.

Act like local chinese, you need complete 17stations for praying for wealthy, healthy and prosperity in this temple; chinese deities, god and goddess, Potisattawa, devils, etc. There is also warehouse for parking the big boat.

anyone from different religion can also enter the temple. and we take lots of photos inside. the area is just like normal temple, with spacious parking area. no entrance fee!

This temple is very beautyfull and also big. On the left site is a little so made river with very nice sculptures and a very beautyfull Bhudda statue. Also there is a temple shop where you can buy all kind of Bhudist articles.

when you are in Medan spare your time to visit this charming temple, it's not just free of charge but i think this temple has beautiful architectural design, the people there are very welcoming. they let me photograph as long as I didn't make noise....More
