This is a famous Buddha temple in Surabaya, took us an hour to reach from our hotel but was totally worth it.

Taxi really tried hard to scam my wife and me, but she's a local, so he was more or less just pissy. The Temple grounds have a few photo opps, but nothing special. It's too much of a carnival atmosphere, attracting plenty of teens looking for a way to get away from their parents more than anything.

This temple is beautiful and well-maintained. Good for taking pictures and just strolling around. There's a wet market near it where you can buy Indonesian sea food.

Many people usually mistook Sanggar Agung Temple as a four-faced Buddha housing therein. In fact it should be named Buddha Empat Rupa. So what does "Sanggar Agung Temple" refer to? The correct answer is Guan Yin Temple. With the help of my friend Yezhu in Surabaya, we took a ride to the scheduled site after paying the entrance fee for... More

We were not told that we had to pay the entrance fee to the Ken Park in order to see this because it's in the Park compound. Included in the compound is the Kuan Im Temple.
