Unless you are invited to a special event at the palace, you will have to settle for views from outside the gate or fence. The grounds -- overrun with deer -- are very spacious and attractive and the palace building itself is beautiful.

One of the iconic spots for taking selfies or wefies while visiting the Bogor botnical gardens. The palace is only accessible by sight from across the great pond, no public access for visitors as I know of.

This used to be the old Governors summer residence of Western-Java when the Dutch ruled most parts of Indonesia. Currently it is the weekend and vacation residence of the Indonesian President. You can only visit it with a special permit from the Indonesian Government.
