Gedung Sate is one of the famous spot in Bandung, which has satay in the top of the building, with an unique architecture.

I was told by the local that this is the historic building in Bandung. So I went there, I am not really impressed, but overall is ok.

This building was built during Dutch occupation. The stucture looks very strong. It is named Gedung Sate as there is a Sate Shapes on top of its roof. Today this is the office of West Java Governoor. It is worthed to visit and take picture from outside.

If you want to see authentic Art Deco building you may find at Gedung Sate, they still preserve the original site with a touch of elegance dont forget to visit here if you go to Bandung

This building consider as ground zero in Bandung and you can pay a visit for a while. take a picture from outside this building. this building is an iconic building in Bandung

When I was child my parents used to take me here and took some picture of me and my brother and sister. Right now is not easy anymore, you should ask for permission to enter the building. If you are lucky the authority will let you in. For me this building is not only the historical site to Bandung City... More

this is the mayor office. The building was so big with very beautiful garden around. very clean. you can see satay stick at the top of the building! that why its called gedung sate.

Gedung Sate is landmark of Bandung city. The building was built by Dutch government during colonial era. In front of gedung sate, there are gazebo where bandung people spent time for jogging and do small sports in the morning. The gazebo converts to market every sunday. The tourist can find many cheap stuffs in the market. My recommendation is going... More

I dunno what kind of attractive things around this place, might be the historical stories. I've never been get in this place or take some photos just passing by when walking or driving but many people come to this place and take some photos. Interesting LOL
