I was looking forward to the monkey forest but, reflecting back on this morning's visit, it was a bit disappointing. Yes you see monkeys, but we had seen a lot already along Balinese countryside roads. Lots of tourists but most of them behaved well (although...More

Overall it was awesome to see the monkeys and beautiful forest up close. I did not bring in any objects for the monkeys to steal based on previous advice. Unfortunately while taking a picture with what appeared to be a happy, social monkey I did...More

This is a highlight of our visit to Bali and something we will always remember. Every monkey has a different personality and makes the experience an incredible one. If you visit Bali, you HAVE to visit the monkey forest!

This was a really good morning out and was very cheap entrance for what you get! Be careful with zip bags as the monkeys know how to get in them! But as long as you follow the guidelines you'll be fine and enjoy a fun...More

I love it. It's so nice to see animals not in cages and running around freely. This is a must-see for any trip to Bali 😊

Is it best to book a tour or just pay on the door? Has anyone been who stayed on Kuta? This is where we will be staying but unsure of the best way to get there, how much would a taxi be? Thanks!
