An absolute must do, for anybody interested in natural products. The walk was fascinating and opened up picturesque areas very close to central Ubud we had not visited before. Our guide was not only instructive but extremely personable. Additionally, classes can be taken showing how to make your own natural skin-care products and other health remedies. We purchased some natural... More

I did the herbal walk and I was the only person - lucky me! Had a great time, he was very knowledgeable. Following I stayed for the JAMU class and learned how to make four products. As someone who is interested in learning more about medicinal herbs and plants I highly recommend. Can't wait to use my new knowledge at... More

The herbal walk is great if you are interested in herbs and alternative medicin or if you just want to get a little bit closer to Bali life. We got to taste different herbs along the way and herb tea.

The Herbal Walk and The Herbal Workshop organized and arranged by Nadis Herbal is so inspiring and the staff gave so much knowledge and showed how important it is to create healthy product. In a world with so much stress and contradiction it is the moment to rest a little bit and at least start to live more valuable. And... More

The class was really informative and Mary had lots of tips. Held in her lovely little shop, there is some hands on activities and I was also lucky enough to receive a demonstration of the warming scrub we made. Thanks Mary for sharing your knowledge and suggestions for substitute ingredients for those of us from less tropical climates.

I did both the walk with Mary in the morning then the afternoon in the shop with chitra. They really know their stuff and Mary was a mine of information on the walk. The afternoon in the shop was such fun. The staff are friendly and fun and there was lots of laughter. Loved finding out and seeing spices we... More

This walk was absolutely brilliant - I have just finished it today. Our guide was fantastic - her knowledge amazing & her English, though she said she was learning, was excellent. We walked around rice fields for a few hours and had the opportunity to touch, see, feel & taste lots of plants. We stopped enroute for refreshments then at... More

I went on the walk with two others and our guide was Mary. It was amazing what she knew about the various plants we encountered during our walk through the paddy fields. It was amazing to see and hear about how the various plants could be used. The walk lasted 3 hours and ended at the herbal shop where we... More

So my husband and I did the herbal walk with Mardy/Westie, he was awesome. The best $20AUD we have spent in a long time. Mardy is knowledgable and is so proud of his Balinese culture and traditions. We backed the herbal walk with the Jamu class the following day with Mardy's wife Lily, we had another amazing time, we learnt... More
