We love Balangan, one of the best beaches in Bali. It is getting a little crowded now with tourists but so are most aces here. It is best to stay for a couple of days.

Place with wavy beach and hilltop resto is nice but public facilities like descent toilets and beach seating and umbrella are limited. Trash are everywhere, need stricter rules against trashing the garbage.

We got there close to sunset and low tide so we walked out on the reef and watched the waves. There is also viewing from a Balinese hut up on the hills

Balangan Beach, locally referred to as Pantai Balangan, is one of Bali’s most popular and most scenic, featuring a gorgeous half-kilometre stretch of golden sand. This surfing paradise attracts wave riders from around the world
