Brilliant location for birding, and day hikes. We went with a group of six and had a wonderful time on the gentle slopes, the abandoned brewery and local temples near by.

The road takes you till the gate of reserve post which you have to walk for 7-8 kilometers to reach Benog. On the way you see some nice stream creating small waterfalls. Trail is green and scenic. Hoped to see some birds but being noon...More

The Sanctuary serves as a home to many endangered and rare species of avifauna.Apart from fauna,herds of deer and leopards are also spotted in their natural habitat.Beautiful views of snow peaks like Chaukhamba and Bandar Punch can be seen from this Sanctuary.

Benog Wildlife Sanctuary is the located in mussorie about 10km from library point. Visitors can reach by there with private buses. Kids enjoy there to watch the birds, animals like panther, bear etc.
