This place seems to be a little underrated and is one of the lesser known places in Mussoorie. Although there is nothing much to do at Gunhill, I still would recommend a short visit to this place if you have time. It takes about half...More

Not worth visit unless: 1. you have kids with you who want to sit in a ropeway 2. you want to tick off everything on your visit list

We visited Gun Hill while our stay. The view was really good. The place is average. Food items are bit costly here. Other shops are also present here. Overall it was a good experience.

Good view from the top however the cable car needs to be modernized. Quaint eateries offering food alfresco with children's games at the top.

No online booking available. Not much of rush. It's a 10 min ropeway. Not much of an adventure

in case you are with small kids or widely people then I suggest ropeway but for please try to get the tickets early as there is lot of rush. Else you will enjoy on foot though tiring while scaling up but worth it.

To the best of my knowledge, it's about 7000 ft ASL. Gun Hill about 300 ft higher than the Mall road. I would suggest to go to Lal Timba, rather than Gun Hill.
