Valley of flowers national park is situated near Badrinath in Chamoli District of Garhwal Region in the state of Uttarakhand in India. Discovered by Frank S Smythe in the year 1931 is a UNESCO world heritage site under Nature category. Nature lovers, botanist, photograghers, mountaineers all come to valley of flowers from across the globe.

Hi Anirban, Yes you can get bus ride midway from govindghat. I think you can go Nandadevi by yourself from joshimath it will take 2 days trek. Better you can trek from govindghat it wil save one day for you. Try going in... More
