Please don't miss it just because you've visited the old temple. It is completely different in environment and experience as compared to the old one. It is located within BHU premises and trip to the temple also allows you to have a snack break (tea+samosa) at the stall just outside the temple entrance. The food quality and taste is amazing.... For those who are at BHU campus, it is heavenly to be able to visit the temple everyday. On shivratri day ( 24th feb 2017) the queue stretched upto 1 km. But it is very organised, no chaos.

Located in the campus of Banaras Hindu University n spread over acres of land, surrounded by beautiful garden n contrary to main kashi vishwanath temple, this temple is clean, silent, quite with an atmosphere where one can indulge in Meditation, nice temple to worship n relax.

This is a real university with many students, but it has an emphasis on the availability of a temple onsite.

Don't fall in the trap of local pundits. they charge you hefty. Go straight for Darshan. with regular Que your turn will come within half an hour except each Monday & Mahashivaratri.

One of the very few places that isn't very crowded. Beautiful architecture. Terraces have seats . One can spend good time there. Located at the university. Loads of eateries outside the temple. U can visit it at any time of the day.
