This is the place where Shahjahan was kept in Jail. Situated at the bank of River Yamuna it gives a stunning view of Taj Mahal from it.

This place specifically designed by King Shah Jahan for viewing Taj Mahal and the special screening of of Taj Mahal added more value of this magnificent architectural heritage. Beautiful stone inlay work is incredible and attractive.

The tower here was where shah Jahan lived out his final years,,,, imprisoned by his son. The irony is that he could look out the window and see the beautiful Taj Mahal across the river.

the contrast between the white marble and the red sandstone of Agra fort is highlighted here so well. Even in the heat of the day this was a cool spot to sit and look out at the Taj in the distance
